PSUs privatisation will make Gate 2021 irrelevant?

 26 PSUs to be sold by the government. 

 Private companies recruitment criteria always based on CTC . Company goes to campus placement for 3-4 lakh CTC job and they require a candidate with some technical skills in their branch. But top private companies providing CTC 10-12 lakhs mainly choose IITs ,NITs, IIMs, well known institutions of our country. Placement procedure involves huge amount of expenditure hence by providing more money they easily got placement slot in these institutes and also engineers graduating or post graduating are top class engineers or said to be the filtered ones.  When we are in post graduation(from IITs, IISc) then we have the opportunity to invite the companies for campus placements according to our specialization. (This information has great importance)  CTC  and in hand money has large difference. 

Through qualifying gate we can take admission in IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc. So this privatisation will increase job opportunities to  M.Tech, MS students of  these institutions. Placement will rise not only in core branches but also in int erdisciplinary branches.  SO GATE EXAM WILL NOT BECOME IRRELEVANT WHILE IT WILL  PRODUCE MORE OPPORTUNITIES. 

 If we take a count on all PSUs in India then get more than 200 out of which 45-50 are in huge loss. Due to huge economy loss government is thinking about privatisation of public sectors. We cannot say this completely that these 45-50 PSUs either all become private , may be anything can be happened. But in the worse case we should think about the opportunities in job domain through gate exam.
